Tony Dorado attended Moreau and graduated in 1977. He played basketball and golf and was cut in his freshmen year. “He was an excellent basketball player but an even better golfer” said Don Morneau. Dorado went on to play basketball for Saint Mary’s College and San Jose State University. He taught PE, Theology, and Psych. Then he started coaching at Moreau in 1984 and led them to many NCS playoff games. He went to a school called La Salle  in Oregon and helped them win a state championship. Now he is the head of all high school basketball in the United States for Nike.
