Todd Brooks was a starter for eight games in 1999 season for the University of Oregon

Before going to University of Oregon Brooks played on the first ever Oakland Rebels team alongside Frank Knight.

Brooks died of diabetes related in Portland at the age of 25

Brooks had been working in Portland as a counselor for foster-care children while also doing counseling at a drug and alcohol treatment facility. He previously worked with the Jubilee Kids Church in Eugene.
