Lenny Wiersma was a veteran Swimmer for Moreau, he and a few other swimmers led the team to a successful season in 1989. After graduating from Moreau in 1989, he went into the Science field and received his degree and masters from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He now teaches Kinesiology at California State, Fullerton and is the co-director of the Center for the Advancement of Responsible Youth Sport, and serves as the Sport Psychology consultant on the High Performance Network of the United States Swimming SPorts Medicine and Science Network. He also trains and competes as a Master’s swimmer at the National level, and enjoys doing outdoor pursuits with his dog.

  • KNES 241: Teaching Nontraditional Sports

  • KNES 380: History and Philosophy of Human Movement

  • KNES 410: Issues in Youth Sports
