Kim Manifesto, graduate of Moreau, Class of 1992, helped lead the Moreau Catholic High School’s Varsity Women’s Basketball team to a Division II State Championship in 1991-1992. During her career at Moreau, she averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 assists, and 8.1 steals a game and as the starting point guard for the team. She set the Northern California career record for steals in a game with 694 in 99 games.

She received many honors including:

 

 

  • Named to the first team All-Hayward Athletic League and to the All State Team three years in a row.

  • East Bay player of the year during her senior year

  • An honorable mention from USA Today All-American team

  • At Portland State, she set 7 school records

  • Earned first team All-American selections in her junior and senior year

  • In 1995 and 1996, she was named PSU’s team Sport Player of the Year

  • One of two people to have her number retired by Portland State

 

 

After being recently named to Castro Valley’s Sport’s Foundation Hall of Fame in 2012, Kim now works as an intensive care nurse. Manifesto now lives in Wenatchee, Washington with her husband and two daughters.
