Katie Teekell (Pittman) graduated from St. Francis High School in 2000. After graduating from St. Francis, she went on to play soccer for Cal. It was reported that during her first season, “2000: Redshirted the 2000 fall season but gained valuable game experience during the spring which therefore negated the possibility of redshirting the 2000 season.” From an article on Cal Womens Soccer, it says “sophomore Katie Pittman saw her first collegiate action in the second half of the Texas A&M game...she played 45 minutes, allowed two goals and made seven saves” on September, 2001.

As well as having a great playing career, she is also an outstanding coach. She coached at many High Schools, both at the Varsity and JV level, and still continues to coach the Bay Oaks Soccer Club.
