Hilary Gallogly was born August 1, 1979 in Walnut Creek, California to Bill and Bonnie Gallogly. At a young age, Hillary picked up water polo and quickly found herself in the spotlight when she attended Miramonte High School. While attending school, she led the Matadors to three consecutive Tri-County Athletic League titles and two North Coast Sections. In addition, more of her accomplishments were earning First-Team All-TCAL and All-NCS honors in 1997, earning her a spot on the Stanford Women's Water Polo team. At her time at Stanford, her coaches said that she was an excellent shot blocker and accurate perimeter shooter. Her biggest accomplishments were scoring twice in the National Collegiate Championship game against top-ranked USC. Not only was she an incredible player, but her brother Reed Gallogly played on the Men's Water Polo team winning a NCAA championship in 2002. She currently resides in Sacramento, California and works as a Medical Doctor at the UC Davis Medical Center. Hillarys mother Bonnie taught at Moreau catholic from 1976-2008. Classes taught included home economics and P.E. over the 32 years. She is currently retired and is enjoying coming back to Moreau and occasionally subbing.
