Glenn Dishman was born on November 5, 1970 in Baltimore, MD. He went to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX and  was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Padres on May 23, 1993. He was picked up by the Philadelphia Phillies on September 12, 1996. Signed by the Detroit Tigers for the 1997  season, then released and didn’t play for 2 years. He played with the Milwaukee Brewers for 46 games, only starting in 1 but then spent 2001 with the Reynosa Broncos. He played In the Mexican League during the  2002 season with the Sonoma County Crushers from the Western Baseball league. After ending his playing career, Dishman joined the coaching staff at Ohlone College in 2004, then joined the LA Dodgers organization as pitching  coach for the Columbus Catfish in 2005. He later coached the Vero Beach Dodgers (2006), the Great Lakes Loon (2007), the Jacksonville Suns in 2008, the Chattanooga (2009) and the Albuquerque Isotopes in 2010.
