Frank knight is currently the basketball coach for Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, CA.  He attended and played at Fremont High school in Oakland, CA where we played 4 years of basketball, he then went on to play at St. Marys College. After playing college ball, he then became an assistant coach for De La Salle high school before moving on to coach his alma mater of Fremont high school.  After a decade of coaching at Fremont, he stepped down to pursue coaching at Moreau Catholic High School.  Since starting coaching at Moreau, he has compiled records of: 16-11; 10-17, 18-10.

 

 

• He was player of the year in his league in high school his senior year

• He has a wife and 4 kids and the oldest son will be attending Moreau next year

• He regularly holds his Frank Knight summer basketball camps for 3rd-9th graders in July

• He also coached at Mt. Diablo College

• He is one of the first Oakland Rebels basketball players which is a renowned AAU team in the Bay Area

• He lead St. Mary’s to 3 out of the 4 years he played for them to the NCAA tournament

• He was the Mountain Conference player of the year his senior year at St. Marys

• He played professionally in France for a couple of years
