Doug Potestio played baseball for Chabot College and continued his career in the Minor League System. He played for the Iowa Cubs. He was then drafted in 1980 by the Kansas City Royals. In eight seasons he played in 192 games. Out of those 192 games he started in 115 of them. He has had 6 shutouts and 512 strikeouts. In the Chabot Hall of Fame and held a clinic at Chabot college.
