Doug Muse graduated from Moreau in 1990 and played basketball for UC Santa Barbara from 1991-1995. In 1992 he was on the All Big West freshman team and was the overall freshman of the year. In 1995, he was an honorable mention on the All Big West team. He played professional basketball in Hungary, Slovakia, and Portugal. He was on the Portugal Telecom Portuguese Cup Champions in 2001. He led the team in points (15.1) and rebounds (7.1) during that championship year. He played 5 years in the Portuguese league and was second in the league in scoring during the 1999-2000 season averaging 19.3 points per game. Currently, he is a sergeant for the Contra Costa County sheriff department.
