Mrs. Galloway played for CAL’s basketball team. She set many records at CAL and was a dominant figure in CAL sports, building the foundation for the program. Currently, she's married with two kids and lives in Castro Valley. Mrs. Galloway graduated in the class of 1977 at Moreau Catholic. After playing basketball she became a bart police officer for 10 years. (patrol, plainclothes and detective). She is the history chair at Moreau, and teaches Psychology. She has a Bachelor degree in Psychology and Anthropology. Galloway worked for the City of Hayward doing Code Enforcement, during which she got a masters in the Administration of Justice and her teaching credential from SJSU.

 

 

  • Played Forward and Center.

  • Conference champions junior and senior year. (No official NCAA yet)

  • Played softball, volleyball, and basketball at Moreau Cartholic High School.

  • Won 30 straight games and the Tournament of Champions junior year at MCHS

  • Averaged 18.4 points a game

  • 1st woman to receive athletic scholarship to CAL university

  • Leading scorer in CAL History including men & women. (2,320 points)

  • Retired Jersey in CAL: #13.  (next to Kevin Johnson, J Kidd, Alfred Gringsby, Darrall Imholf)

  • Inducted in CAL Hall Of Fame- 1989.

  • She is now the History Chair at Moreau Catholic High School.

  • Inducted to MCHS Hall Of Fame, 2001.

  • #1 draft choice of Dallas Diamonds before the Women’s Basketball League disbanded

  • 2nd in career rebounds at CAL (1021 rebs)
