Braxston Banks was Moreau graduate from the class of 1985. His team went 7-3 in his senior year, and finished in 2nd place in the East Bay. Originally he went to Tennyson High School for three years but decided to transfer in his senior year so he could academically get the classes he needed. Many people thought it was athletically influenced which he fought in the courts and won in order to play in his senior year. Although he was only at Moreau for one year he broke records. After his career at Moreau he took his talents to South Bend to play for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He played at Notre Dame from 1986 to 1988. While at Notre Dame he rushed 550 yards, had 126 yards receiving with 18 catches and scored 8 touchdowns. He also won the National Championship of 1988 with the Fighting Irish as well. He decided to enter into the draft in 1990 but wasn’t selected and he tried to go back to college and finish his college career but the NCAA said no and he lost the court case to try and get reinstated. He never made it to the professional level. 6’2 running back
